About us
Who we are
Rugby Rokeby Lions Club has been serving the Rugby community since 1968. We're a group of ordinary men and women who give their time to make Rugby a better place — for everyone who lives, works and grows up here.
From our famous Santa Sleigh to food bank collections, from the Message in a Bottle scheme to spectacle recycling, from fundraising events to direct donations to local causes — we're active throughout the year, quietly getting on with it.
We're part of Lions Clubs International — the world's largest humanitarian organisation with over 1.4 million volunteers across more than 200 countries. That means the work we do in Rugby is connected to a global network tackling hunger, visual impairment, diabetes, disaster relief and youth development worldwide.
But our heart is here. In Rugby. In the streets, the community centres, the supermarket car parks and the residential roads where you'll find our Santa Sleigh every December.
